Create

I had this idea for a One word challenge in another community, but I was not able to make the shot on time for the 24-hour deadline. I liked the idea, so I decided to make it anyway, just for fun.

The word Create is a decorative object made of wood which usually sits atop our mirror in the entrance hall. I placed it on a table with a white background, set the camera on the tripod, and closed all the lights after locking the focus. I then lit up a strand of LED Christmas lights placed it behind the word and jiggled them during the exposure. I had placed a few Swarovski crystals in the letters to see how they would come out with the backlighting.
