Playing around with Photoshop trying to see how I could modify the lighting and ambiance artificially, after pasting a sunset sky in a daytime photo.

This probably won’t stay on here for long…

Below is the original shot, with a blown sky, a rather flat lighting and dull colours.

I applied a pseudo HDR process, then used several curves, levels, colour adjustment layers, pasted a new sky, added a warm filter layer, added two golden cloud layers for additional light, plus some texture of mine, and spent some time dodging and burning on a 50% gray overlay layer.

Oh, and I boosted the red of the little house’s roof with a solid colour layer at low opacity, blended in overlay.

Finally cropped in a square format.
