Towards the Light
Experimenting with tutorials found on the internet to create digital art from scratch.
The fist one is for creating the sun to which I modified a few settings, namely colours and saturation, and I decided to make it a reflected sun on a surface of water instead of a grassy hill.
The second tutorial was used to create the sea but again, I changed a few things. I temporarily rotated my image sideways and warped it a bit using Filters > Distort > Shear to give the horizon a slight curve.
Finally, I used a photo of three seagulls that I had, and created a whole set of brushes in different sizes with one, two or three birds. I used the largest 900px trio to add the birds in here and added a slight outer glow.
It took me several hours to complete because I had to start over a few times, not being satisfied with the results.
